swinging

Today was long and I am exhausted. I was at the church all day and didn't get home until about 9:30pm. The Outreach Team had a meeting tonight with a taco bar from Qdoba and it was yuuuuummmy! The meeting went really well and I'm looking forward to working with the team and becoming more involved at Elevation. When we got home Samantha said that she wanted to go swing and so I told her I would go with her. So we all walked up to the park and started swinging and playing on the playground. I realized that swinging is kinda therapeutic for me and that I should do it more often. It was a good way to just relax and not think about the day or the 8 gazillion things that need to be done. I just enjoyed the cool crisp air and soaked in God's beauty in the darkness all while being serenaded by Barak playing his guitar and the sounds of voices and cars driving by. It was a beautiful way to end the day.
